Our son feels safe, excited, and loved, which allows us to serve on the worship team knowing he’s cared for. This church truly is home for all of us.

Cookie and I first connected with Calvary (now Awaken) in the ’80s. When we returned to DFW in 2004, we jumped right in—serving, greeting, and helping wherever needed. Today, we’re elders. Our grandson and his wife are elders.

Our great-granddaughters are growing up in Awaken Kids. This church is our family and our legacy.
