To every Future Is Now partner,
What I want to share with you this month, about our future home at 4600 Regent Blvd, carries more weight than any update I have sent so far.
Seven months ago, you stepped out in faith with me. You made a commitment believing God was calling us to build more than a building, to build a home for future generations. As partners, you have committed over $3.4 million toward that vision. And it has been your faithful, consistent generosity that has carried this from drawings on paper into the reality standing in front of me right now.
I want you to sit with this number for a second: together, we are nearing our first $1 million given toward The Future Is Now.
Nearly a million dollars of sacrifice. Nearly a million dollars of partners saying yes to what God is doing in this house.
Because of that, here is what your generosity has built:
Partners, this is really happening.
Commitments declare vision. Generosity is what builds the house. We are just over 27 percent of the way through our total commitments, which means there is so much more generosity still ahead of us.
Our goal has never changed. We want to build this home completely debt free, and I believe we will.
If you have already made a commitment, thank you. Keep walking it out faithfully. If you have already fulfilled your commitment, I want to ask you to prayerfully consider doing even more. We are closer now than when you first said yes, and what God is writing here is bigger than any one gift. And if you have not yet made a formal commitment, I am asking you personally to step in.
In November 2023, Kim and I sat down with our board and said yes. Not because we had to. Because we believed we were supposed to. Everything since that day, the TFIN campaign, this build, this entire season, started with that single yes.
Now I get to tell you what that yes looks like right now.
June 28 is our final Sunday at 4401 North Highway 161. We’re calling it Moving Forward Sunday,
not the last Sunday in a building we are leaving. The Sunday this church steps from where we have been into where God is taking us.
Starting July 5, we begin gathering at MacArthur High School Auditorium. That is our home for eight weeks, July through August. Every single Sunday we are there, steel continues going up and walls continue going in at 4600 Regent. We are on schedule, believing for a move-in sometime in September.
MacArthur is not a delay. It is where we stand while God finishes what we started.
Partners, you are the reason any of this is possible. Stay connected at futurenow.ac for every construction update as it happens. Keep giving, keep praying, keep believing with us.
We’re moving forward.
We’re almost home.
