The Home Is Taking Shape. Now We Move Forward.

This update carries more weight than any we’ve shared so far. We are not talking about plans anymore. We are watching a home take shape.

Nearing Our First $1 Million Given

Seven months ago, this church stepped out in faith together. We made commitments believing God was calling us to build more than a building, to create a home for future generations. As a church, you have made over $3.4 million in commitments toward that vision. It has been your faithful, consistent generosity that has carried this forward, moving us from what once existed only on paper into the reality taking shape around us today.

Here is something worth pausing on: together, we are nearing our first $1 million given toward The Future Is Now.

Think about that. Nearly a million dollars of sacrifice. Nearly a million dollars saying yes to the future God has for this house.

Because of that generosity, here is what is happening right now:

  • The children’s spaces are ready for paint.
  • The worship center is nearly fully framed.
  • Major electrical and HVAC work has been completed, and this month the rough electrical inspection in the worship center officially passed.
  • We are preparing to build the platform and stage.
  • Every piece of furniture for our new home has been selected, purchased, and ordered.

This is really happening.

Commitments declare vision. Generosity is what builds the house. We are just over 27 percent of the way through our total commitments, which means there is so much more generosity still to come.

If you have already made a commitment, thank you. Keep walking it out faithfully. If you have already fulfilled your commitment, would you prayerfully consider doing even more? We are closer now than when you first said yes, and the story God is writing is bigger than any single gift. And if you have never made a commitment, now is the time to step in and help build a home for the next generation.

We are no longer looking at drawings. We are watching a home take shape. Not just a building. A home where people will live in the love of the Father, walk in the way of the Son, and demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit.

Moving Forward

In November 2023, Pastor Ben and Kim sat down with our board and said yes. Not because they had to. Because they believed they were supposed to. This is a church that chose something. Faith in motion. And everything since that day, the TFIN campaign, the new build at Regent Blvd, this entire season, started with that yes.

Now it’s time to share what that yes looks like right now.

June 28 is our final Sunday at 4401 North Highway 161. We’re calling it Moving Forward Sunday,

not the last Sunday in this building. The Sunday this church steps from where we have been into where God is taking us. Those are two very different things, and we want you to hear them that way.

This is a good thing. This is what we said yes to. We are walking into this, not being pushed into it. We need you there next Sunday, fully present, with your whole heart, ready to receive what God wants to do in that room one more time before we leave it. This is going to be a holy Sunday.

Here is what comes after.

On July 5, we begin gathering at the MacArthur High School Auditorium. MacArthur is our home for the summer, eight weeks, July through August. And while we are there, every single Sunday, steel is going up at 4600 Regent Blvd. Walls are going in. We are on schedule right now, believing for a move-in sometime in September.

MacArthur is not where we get stuck. MacArthur is where we stand while God finishes what we started. That is Moving Forward. That is the next step. Not a delay. Not a detour. The step.
