Awaken Church, we have a May update for you and there is a lot to cover.
First, just thank you. Thank you for your faith through this process. Thank you for your flexibility. And thank you for continuing to show up while we build what God has next for this church. This has never just been about a building. It is about making room for people, for ministry, and for a future that is already coming into focus.
Here is some good news: nothing changes for you right now.
We have already moved our offices to a temporary location and have been preparing for transition but the buyer has graciously agreed to a leaseback arrangement, which means we get to stay longer than originally planned. We are still gathering at 4401 N. Highway 161 through the entire month of June. Sundays for main services. Wednesdays for youth. Same place, same schedule. Nothing changes for you right now.
We are moving forward month by month with September as our target move-in at 4600 Regent. That is the plan and we are building toward it every single day.
Real progress is happening. Here is what has been completed, what is happening now, and what is coming next broken down by area.
What used to exist only in drawings is becoming real walls and real rooms every single week.
